Just wanted to start off the day by saying Happy Birthday to my brother Stephen..

Another early one for us.  We felt bad leaving the house, when Nadia and Luke were just about to start demolishing a few rooms of their house.  But they insisted that we went to see Mt. Coot-tha, and Nadia reminded us that we were on holiday and not there to work.  Around 11:30AM, Sabrina, Frank and Joyce were at the house to pick us up.  We had a nice drive through the city and then up the hill to Mt. Coot-tha.  Once we arrived at the top the view was amazing.  Robert was here around 5 years ago, when he came to visit for the first time.  I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, you could see the city perfectly.  You could even see the beach at Sandgate without binoculars.  We ordered some food, we were all starving.  I ordered a burger, I have been dying for a good burger.  Haven't had one yet, and that is still the case.  I ordered it without onion and won't you know they us an onion mix in the hamburger.  I had a few bite, ate my fries and salad.  Everyone else enjoyed their food.
Soon  we were on own way up the mountain to see where all of the TV stations were locate and then back down to see Frank and Joyce's old house and where they were married.  Sabrina also drove us past a new trendy section of Brisbane called, Park Road.  There was a cool restaurant with the Eiffel Tour on top of it called, Savoir Fare.  Luke recommends Arrivederci's Pizza.  Then Sabrina wanted to stop by Portside Wharf, she wanted to see if a cruise ship was in, because she was interested in going on a cruise.  We were there a week ago with Lennie and Scott, but this time there were more people, the ship was about to sale way.  One thing we did notice was that, there was an extra fence.  We were able to get a lot closer to the water a week ago.  We were back in the car again and on our way back to Nadia and Luke's.
When we arrived they were not home, so we changed into our construction clothes to help when they returned.  And boy did we even.  They had a complete basement, but after we were all done with it, the walls and ceiling were going as well as the steps to get up stairs.  Everyone was hammering, pushing, whatever they felt like doing to get the walls down
After all of our hard work, we ordered some pizza.  Then headed over to the neighbors to play some cards.  First we played one of the games that the little girls got for Christmas, Ker plunk.  After that we played 7's, poker, and lastly spoons.  This was the most exciting game out of all of them, everyone was into it.  I even have war wounds from it.  First time ever besides getting blisters when we first started our trip, I scrapped my arm off the table as I reached for a spoon.  Oh my god did it hurt, immediately it started bleeding and turning black and blue.  One of the girls, played nurse and got me an ice pack.  We played for a little bit longer and then called it a night.  We had a great time and many laughs.
