Yellow guest House
Arrivede into Arany... had lunch and paid 1,200 Baht for the express VISA for Cambodia.
We were let off the bus to walk the 200 yards or so through the border crossing. It was quite an eye opener to cross into the dusty dirt roads. There were people evrywhere. Masny were pushing cart LOADED wityh goods to and from the border market area. The road was terrible. You could feel the dust and dirt in the air, your eyes, nose and mouth. We had to drive slowly to navigate around all the potholes and uneven areas and the bouncing of the bus kept you holding on. People were yelling to one another and the tooting of horns sounded like yet another language. We were warned of wht this experience would be like, but it is so different when it hits all of your 5 senses.
We swithed to another bus and were headed on a 7 hour adventure through the Cambodia countryside
November 29th -Angor Wat
Another early wake up... 4:00 AM to head to Angor Wat. The temples are truly inpressive. They are HUGE and really spreadout. We took a Tuk-Tuk to watch the sunrise over teh temple. We found that this is quite a draw. There were over a two hundred people there already! We walked up and into the temple, in the distance you could see a special hot air balloon, just for the sunrise.
