Moved to the beach finally.  Hanging out for a few days in Sihanoukville, a beach town full of 'traveller' types, a very nice beach, warm water and lots of drinking establishments.  I myself decided to spend the first night frequenting various bars on the beach, situated one after the other they offer fine fayre at reasonable prices, and the walk isn't too bad even after a skinful of the local poison.  Managed to stay up until sunrise, lighting up an amazing bay with fishing boats bobbing away.  The bars stay open and offer handy places to take it all in, little tree houses, hammocks, 70's Emmanuelle style bamboo chairs or maybe just the sand itself.

Rising with the lark today (about 1pm) we spent the rest of the day getting some well earned rest.  The beach is knee deep in locals offering to massage, sell you various trinkets you don't want, braid your hair (one for the Dutch tourists) amd even cut your toe nails!  I showed them mine, they told me it would take a week, they'd have to order the diamond edged cutter specially from Japan.

Good food, I feel I am refilling the missing inches on my waist, and a very relaxed atmosphere.  Its the type of place some people will come to and never leave, "there's nowhere like this in the world man!".  I think 4-5 days will suit me just fine, anymore and your brain definately slips outta your ear and you must dreadlock your hair.

Both in good health, off to the national parks soon to look at waterfalls, nature, abandoned French colonial stations and various other oddities.
