On the way to the fort we saw deer, pheasants and a few antelopes along the side of the road. The weather was 80 degrees and sunny, a good summer day. We set up camp and a chipmonk let us know that our site was his territory. The park has a lot of pheasants and a large area with prairie dogs. The next day it started out beautiful until noon than it went down hill with thunder storms, high wind, hail and tornado warnings. There saying same thing for tomorrow, time to move on and see what's up the road.

good grief! HAIL!
You guys are great fun to read about! The pix are super! Hail looks like it would put a dent in your vehicles as well as the afternoon plans!!!!

Seems like you only got warmed up when the weather turned again. I love RV living for the fact you can just move on!!
