You guessed it!  We are sitting out a storm and didn't get to fish today......after a great afternoon on April 30, Tuesday.  The fishing hasn't been that great, but on Tuesday we didn't go out until about three in the afternoon.  It was great fun and we caught good fish.  At one time we had four fish on, Of course there is only two of us so.......I lost a big Mahi and picked up another rod.  This time I brought him all the way to the boat.  RaRa had to park his rod (in a rod holder).  He came over to gaff my fish.....and you know RaRa......He was afraid mine was bigger than his..............when he gaffed him (for the third or fourth time) he caught the line and cut it!!!!  He went back to his (and being the sweet person I am) brought it up to the boat and I gaffed his on the second try.  Anyway, we had mahi mahi and black fin tuna................Made a great about 9:00 p.m.  Lots of boat slip neighbors to talk to when we got in at 7:00 p.m.
Since I haven't updated in a few days,  I am going to try to talked about the pictures (so I don't forget anything and leave you hanging)
On the way out to fish yesterday, we had to wait on this Cruise Ship (Imagination).  Seriously, we were motoring right along and the ship started out of the dock.  Naturally, we waited since he was a little bigger than we followed him out about a mile.
You have to try and see the video of RaRa and the paddle board.  I think it is a sideways picture, but I couldn't figure out how to rotate a video.....(RaRa was busy polishing the boat outside on the deck)
Of course, you have to know that big Ralphie loves "Big Bird".  He thinks we have our very own 'special' big bird that comes every morning and afternoon to do his fishing.  He is just about 100' away from the back of our boat.  On yes, and the Boat name is 'Work Release II" and the port listed is Duck Hill, MS.  Now, you must know that we get lots of questions about both of "what does that mean" and 'where is Duck Hill?'
The house in the pictures is the most Southern house in the United States.  It is really pretty also.  Been in the same family for over 100 years...................Key West claims to have been discovered
by Ponce de Leon in 1513.  I didn't know that either.
The Black and Red and Yellow buoy-looking picture is the Southern most point in the U.S. and is only a mere 90 miles from Cuba. No!!! We are not going there next.  We are not quite that crazy.
Check out our 'wheels'.  We had a ball one day sporting around in our little electric car.  Of course, the island is only 2 miles by 4 miles, so yes, we made the island on one battery charge.
There are vehicles, but more bikes, scooters, and electric cars.  On I forgot one mode of transportation..................Like a rickshaw...........only it's a bike pulling a cart for two.  I told RaRa, I wouldn't be comfortable riding in that,,,,,just thinking about that poor guy having to peddle us around.  Anyway, an electric car is the way to do................we tried the tour train(as you read) a few days ago, but prefer this new way!
Now, Old Town is only two blocks from our Marina/boat slip.  That is where all the tourist walk up and down........(and stop for their cocktails).  It is always crowded, just like Burbon Street in N.O.  But right before you get to Duvall (the main street), there is a CVS.  We have almost found everything at the CVS.  You will see a Pic of RaRa and his 'two wheeler', carrying all of our supplies back..........water, beer, cokes, vino and chips!  The two wheeler has been a huge help.  The grocery store is about 5 blocks and we have to really pack carefully to get everything on the cart.
On the way back from the grocery store, we found the restaurant that I took a picture of.
Dirt floor and all..................really a laid back place!  haven't eaten there yet and it hasn't been recommended yet either!
Well, the storm is about over and we are going to the pool in a little while.................that is what we do in the afternoon when we are not fishing.......................BUT the sunsetshere are the best  that I have ever seen..............even including Destin.
We are having a great time and really appreciate all of those at home that are taking care of the business and all that stuff!!! Our hats are off to ya'll.  We have enjoyed reading your comments back to us also.
