(78 miles)
Today we went back into Vienna to see a few things we missed yesterday and then we were off in the direction of Hungary. The roads were again flat and this time the cross wind appeared to help us occasionally. It was still gusting at least 25 mph and as I would ride behind chrissy I could actually see her lean into the wind to stay upright.
Just before leaving Austria we wanted to try one last time to find whats called Salzburger Nockerl. Our friends from Berlin, Norman and Burgi suggested it. Unfortunately its a Salzburg specialty and cant be found elsewhere. We had another Nockerl which lead us to Nockerl is such a general term that the natives at the bar were unable to give us a definition. What we had had 0 similarities to the Salzburger Nockerl.

Drama as we entered Hungary. I guess whats a small road in Austria turns into a fast road, with bikes prohibited signs everywhere. We had to climb over a ditch mound and find our way out of a neighborhood. It took a while to find our way. We realized the route we planned would never do and that our route through Hungary would have to be far less direct. Plenty of camping though.

Hello Friends!
This is Steph. I have been reading your blog. It looks like you are having so much fun, except for the lyme disease. Chrissy, I really hope you don't have it. Keep the blogs up, I really enjoy reading them and seeing all your pictures.

Here in minneapolis there has been a lot going on. Corwin Mortin's wife, Jodi, passed away last week. Very tragic, but Corwin has been dealing with it pretty well. On a brighter note, we had a baptism on Saturday. Her name is Nicole Griffin. I don't know her very well, but she seems really enthusiastic and happy about the gospel. The baptism was awesome...her family came. There were a lot of 'Praise the Lord!'s and 'Thank you Jesus!'s. very fun!

Well, that's the big news. No wait, there is more! Katherine and Mark Rane are having a baby! And they buy their new house in a couple weeks, but I think you knew that.

We all miss you back here in Minnesota, and wish you good luck! When do you get home? I forgot, 17th??? Anyways, email me if you can. Bill and I can pick you up from the airport.

Bye! Safe riding!
