Well it turns out Germany is beautiful as well. We spent a lot of the day climbing as we began at 400 m from sea level and ended at 800 reaching close to 1000 in the middle. Our legs are the sorest they've been since the first two weeks. Lucky thing we planned a rest day here near the Neuschwanstein Castle.

I broke a spoke on my wheel. It's kind of bad news.I don't have the tools to repair it. We were kind of scared as we were half way between destinations and the broken spoke left me with a wobbly wheel. The decision was to press forward and luckily we made it another 38 km to where we are now. The stores don't open until monday so again our rest day sunday comes in handy. We searched for a church and were unable to find one in the area.

The Neuschwanstein castle is super impressive. I was able to take a photo just like the one on the Ron Kannas mantle in the living room. Personally I think my version is better. Scaffolding rocks!

We haven't been able to upload our pictures at these public computers just yet. We'll keep trying.

Neuschwanstein castle Bavaria Germany on

Neuschwanstein enchants, not only for its scents of oranges and lemons which inebriate and remain impressed in your heart and mind even when you return home; not only because it offers you daily, the pleasure of admiring a natural display of a thousand colors which play and pursue each other between land and sea; but also because it permits you to reach a thousand precious pearls which narrate the history, places full of uncontaminated scenery to discover, rich in...magic.
