Prague Day Two June 21, 2013
After getting ready and showering, I was searching for the "promised online during booking: hair dryer, otherwise I would be going out for the day with wet hair. Usually I wash my hair at night so it is dry in the morning. Such a sweetheart, he went to ask the front desk, the guy said “you hair looks fine, man" smiled and handed him a hair dryer. We walked 3km to the Gorgeous Park.

I had not imagined any park more beautiful than Vondelpark, until today. Jasmine in blossom everywhere and everything smelled of jasmine, which is a favorite fragrance. The park was clean, quiet, lush but tailored. We walked the entire length of the park all the way to Prague Castle. In certain areas, the park offered unbelievable views over the city! We then entered some sort of Royal territory, because the full dressed can't move a muscle Prague soldiers were appearing. There were beautiful landscaped flowers. Also, throughout the obviously private area beyond the park, held historical information. Throughout the walk, there were various “mutations” of trees from all of the world and some from ancient time periods. I suppose they were replanted. Each had a placard, description, and guarded area- obviously high league collection of naturally engineered trees that had never been discovered. There was something funny in one of the descriptions, all of which are translated to english. One had cited the Jurrasic Park as a time period…. Instead of the Jurassic Period. Ramsey and I both noticed this, and laughed. Was this a translation error? Or perception of the English error? I guess we will not know, but it is hysterical.

Love the narrative and the details. Shop, eat, drink and sight see across Europe, what could be better!
