         Another classic 66 stop. I wasn't to up for this one because I suspected that it would be pretty run down and depressing. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was in great shape. There was a little snack stand and a place to sit and watch people swim. You could just picture it back in the day. Full of people having fun. By the looks of it, it's back in use.

I saw this spot on the Route 66 video and wondered if you would stop here. That looks pretty neat. I didn't know you could go into the whale. Thought it was just decor....hope you didn't do anything illegal....xo J
