Of all the neon signs along 66, this one is probably the most famous. Even people not that familiar with 66 might recognize this one.
Unfortunatley, we pulled in for the night and the sign is turned off. We new that the hotel was closed until spring but hoped it would still be on. We'll have to settle on seeing it in the daylight.
So we are parked for the night. Don't know the plan for tomorrow yet. Sounds like Adrian, TX for lunch and Shamrock,TX for dinner. Other than that, we still have to plan it so I'll let you know.
