Good Morning Readers,
The sun is rising in beautiful Breckenridge. It is gorgeous. Currently it is 22 degrees, but this won't stop this hearty group. Thanks to Tammy for posting last night. John got some great pictures and we hope to get them sent sometime today. On our way to Breckenridge, Dad spoke with Amy and she recommended that we stop in Georgetown, Colorado. Steve Chobosky had been there and recommended it to her. Fortunately, we looked it up and it was just down the road so we made it stop. This was a fabulous stop. We loved it! It is an old silver mining town that is now just a quaint mountain community. It is one of three towns referred to as the Gold Circle Towns. We stopped in at the visitor's center and learned out some of the pre-statehood history. When we rolled into Breckenridge and set up camp around 6 pm. Mom treated us to a great dinner ...the chili really hit the spot. John and I ventured down to the log cabin clubhouse. It was really cool. We think the kids would love it. Mom is making breakfast so I have to go. We are heading west on I 70 towards Vail and then will be moving on towards Grand Junction. We hope to make it somewhere in Utah tonight. Love to Everyone!
