The Blue Hornet set sail at 10:00 AM this morning headed west towards Rapid City....the travellers are contending with a serious head wind and the rig is running a little hot. Just east of Rapid City they will head south on Hwy. 83 into Nebraska. At last check they were planning on a big travel day with the intent of logging a lot of mile so they can't slow down the pace through the Rockies. All reports are that is has been an uneventful trip. Dad has indicated however that he has determined that it would be better for him to sit on the toilet seat when the rig is moving...lesser men would have succombed......

Rocky Mountain High....
The crew has just added a member to the battle ship. The Hornet, in all it's glory, picked up Jill at the Denver airport early afternoon on Sunday. Spirts seem high --- word is, they'll be staying the night in Breckenridge. Red continues to brace for impact in the back of the rig. Sal is excited by the sights, John remains behind the wheel. Before heading Breckenridge, they're making a stop in Georgetown, CO.

Grrr.... Tigers and tucked away
All the little tigers are in one place for the night.. Click here to see where they are staying... http://www.tigerrunresort.com/photos.html
Last I heard, they were about the make dinner.....the temps are suppose to get down to about 22 degrees over night. Little chilly for our campers ... So, there they are, tucked in under the CO skies, in the middle of nowhere -- just how Red likes it. Lions and Tigers, oh my!

Tiger's on the move...
Tell Dad that Breckenridge has the highest chairlift in North America. Perfect place to see the sights!

Ramblinraasch and Route 66
Hope all is well. Which one of you is ramblinraasch? I spent some time in Saint Louis, MO over the weekend. Does route 66 go thru Saint Louis? Figured I would ask the experts.
