It's farewell to the South. Well its been somewhat of an eye opener. Southern Americans are more or less the same as Australians and allow me a touch of Patriotism, but the people, the community, the cities are still superior in Australia.

Today I woke up, had breakfast and headed West to where apparently there was some shopping to be done.  There wasn't much there apart from a grocery store that sold a tad too much herbal crap for my liking. 'You are fat, you can take these pills right here and you'll still be fat 3 weeks later, but hey, at least you think you're trying'. What was around this area was a nice little bookstore where I added to my collection which has got up to 5 books which you can see right here. They arn't much cheaper, but put simply, you can get books here that you simply can't get in Australia other than through Mum's Amazon account (which contributes to 50% of all Amazon sales).

After that I had lunch and returned to my room, only to get a visit from the front desk and security to please leave the building as I had only payed for 2 nights. Well I just happened to be in the right mood this afternoon, that I argued with them that not only had I booked 3 nights, that we had confirmed that on the day I arrived here and I have a receipt to proove it. They were about as apologetic as Australia was to the Aboriginies Pre-Rudd. But I got my room back and so I was happy. I have noticed this trend with American staff here, they have this way of answering back to you which would be completely unacceptable in Australia. Like when I needed change for the $100 and they told me 'This is not a bank'. I felt like saying 'Oh really, damn I thought this was the ANZ and you are an ATM Machine, sorry for swiping my card on your face'.

My flight is at 9.05 and I get in at 9,50, but the flight is 2 hrs and 45mins, bloody time difference. I then have to wait for Dad and Maurice to arrive for another two hours. But on the bright side, I'll certainly be in a better state than them when they arrive.

Until then,
