After a few "prep" issues, we got out of town by noon, much as we had planned.

The first thing we noticed was the large number of RVs returning to the North Country from their winter escape.  We counted over a hundred units in the over three hundred miles we traveled.  The majority of them were fifth-wheel trailers, but some large class A's were also among them.  Ironically, the weather report for Helena was a Winter Storm Warning.  We may just have made it out in time.

Another item that I noticed, was Lynn once again at the wheel of Fiona.  Yep, she made another appearance and drove over seventy miles.  A fine job she did, if I do say so myself!

Another item showed up, if you can call it an item.  It's more of a phenomenon, if I'm correct:  The Wind...  Shortly after I re-took the wheel, it seems the airflow from the West increased.  In a new rig, it's a new experience, for sure.  But survive we did.

Not being of "flatlander" stock, we didn't appreciate the Wyoming-rated breeze, but I guess that doesn't have much to do with it.  Fiona handles well, even with Sooby tracking closely in her tire tracks. I could go on, as I usually do, but it's been a long day...

Thanks for stopping by and visiting with us.  I hope to have pictures soon for you to check out.  See you soon...

Goodbye Ralph and Lynn!

Nice thing about spending the winter in the center of the universe where you live, gives incentive to look around and seek other views and life forms.
I'm assuming you got your glasses. Please call and explain to this mentally challenged friend. Is Fort Hall a final destination or a stop over and more importantly where is it. My little black friend who usually helps me with ipad, and gps, geography questions I have is currently unavailable. He is either in school or playing. I guess that's what 7 yr. old kids do.

Ah, you did hit the road today and sounds like the road, in the form of wind, struck back...but at least you made some miles. I am there with you in spirit or did you check your bedroom closet to see if I am hiding there? Nope, still here in Seattle trying to keep busy by running around to sales and shops finding stuff to sell. To rainy to head up to Olympic National Park this time. Have a great day on the road.....hugs to you

I just got home yesterday, spent a week in Hankinson, ND, visiting my Aunt Sister Mary Beata. She's going to be 87 next month, and her he mind is not what it use to be to say the least. Yvonne and Kolton went also, the sisters love having Kolton around and he really enjoys them. Our travel to and from was very easy, but long. Glad hear you're on the road again.
