Lynn and her friends had their call early this AM, since we're back in the Daylight Time Zone of the mountains.  As a result, we got out of camp early and are now in Logan Utah at a tiny park within a mobile home park.  The trees are leafing out and the grass has already been mowed!  It's cold here, however, in the lowest of the fifties.  We're going to go to an RV Dealer in town and check out a few.

The ride from Provo was windy and wild!  As one approaches the seat of the LDS, it gets worse.  I just stay in my lane and give myself plenty of stopping room ahead, watch the mirrors and meditate.  It's worked do far.  We're coming up on 9,000 miles this stint.

That's about it for now...

Glad you got out of the Provo area....I missed the signage saying no trailers 2 left hand lands....cost me $100 snappers! Screw UT and those crazy 6 lanes! Snow squalls here today, winds were scary yesterday! Be safe, hugs.....

Sounds like you probably get a lot of meditation in while driving. It probably helps to relieve some stress. Drive carefully.

BTW the hummer silhouette shots were great.

Ralph and Lyn,

We will be home Saturday after 3 week cruise with motorcycle tent. We are getting to know the coastal climate for this time of year. Have stuck to state parks and are now backtracking on the Lewis and Clark trail. Will stay near Lewiston tomorrow with temp up to 70 degrees.

Have been trying to eat Fuhrman's Plan on the road, which has made for some laughs. Restaurants seem to be doing better on vegan stuff, but can't seem to resist salt and cheese and other sources of fat. They really don't seem to be interested in our health. Can't wait to weigh in when I get home.

I have been surprised to learn that when I must get a salad without anything but vinegar on the road, Subway is the place. They throw their vegetarian sandwich stuff in a bowl, sans the bread, and chop it with a rocking chopper. Have them hold the dressing and cheese, and the salad is perfect Fuhrman.

Without the hard-sided camper and high temps at 55 and some days no sun, we have been spending more time at libraries and coffee shops to enable us to read. Next test is how to use the camper to support hiking in Montana.

Love ya, Chris and Maggie
