We got to South and Lynn walked in and talked with the folks in Site 77, which we had spotted yesterday. They were quite congenial and helpful. They vacated at ten thirty and we moved in immediately. Sites are at a premium in the earlier hours of the day. We had walked to the Visitors Center and scouted out the hikes. With our busy day yesterday, we decided to cool it and just take the shuttle up Zion Canyon this afternoon. There are twelve stops, so I anticipate adequate time to take a few shots with my "good" camera.
Tomorrow will see us taking a hike. It gets warm here in the afternoon, but we have our awning up. No electricity or water hook ups make us rely on our boondocking skills. I'm looking forward to see how well we do with the two "house" batteries. They were well charged when we got here.
The hummingbirds are visiting the feeder and we continue to enjoy the experience.
More tomorrow, but photos may appear this evening at http://flickr.com/photos/ralphieboyo.
Well, we did get on the Shuttle and rode up the Zion Canyon and back. Beautiful, but rather restricted in the photo-op department. I did get a few which I'll post later this eve. Nice here today and from what I see, nice in Helena. Enjoy the current springtime, FWIW. I'm a native, you know...
