We were early, so not many folks were around. The first presentation involved a pair of these sleek animals. It was cool and Lynn enjoyed it immensely. I got some decent shots and did take a short video which I put up on Facebook.
We went to a couple of other venues and did see the baby dolphin. It's getting pretty large now. We learned that the female carries the baby for a twelve month gestation period. The weigh about twenty five pounds at birth.
These animals are quite domesticated and are used for "research," whatever that means. Some of what I heard didn't make much sense to me, but the folks were very friendly and informative.s
We took a break and had a great cup of coffee. Then, we wandered and watched some more. It was a great time and well worth the time and price of admission.
Back at the park, we had lunch and sat outside and read in the nice warmth of the Keys. I did "check my eyelids for pinholes for awhile, but didn't find any. It's best to keep up with such as one ages.
Thanks, again, for checking us out. Photos will be on Flickr...
