Lynn got up mighty early today to visit with her two closest friends in Helena via "Conference Call."   However, that didn't mean that we got to town much earlier.  We did get the laundry all done at Vera's before lunch.

We hit Costco for a few items and had lunch there.  I DO love their Polish Dogs, I must say. Lynn had a Chicken Caesar Salad that was huge.  I was obligated in giving her a hand to finish it off.  It was great too, but the Polish Dog does linger in my mind.

The trip back to the CG was uneventful, despite the traffic and the "fine individuals" zipping from lane to lane like rabbits on some sort of drug... Who knows?

We visited a bit with some folks from Sydney, BC just across from us.  The live in a sailboat based out of Sydney and travel most of the time.  Their motorhome is a nifty twenty-six foot Itasca Class A.  Nice and short, but with three slides that make it about twice as large as Shorty inside.  No envy here, just facts.

As we were visiting, we saw two brightly-colored hot air balloons arise in the distance just over the mountain that we had hiked yesterday.  I hopped over to Shorty and got the camera so you all could enjoy them too.  Seeing such things just over the desert mountains always gives me a thrill.  With little wind here, I'm sure it's a "gas" to ride in one.

It was nice and warm today, so I donned my shorts for the second day in a row.  Cool in the evenings still, but the space heaters take care of that.

We we both a bit downhearted that Notre Dame fared so badly in the big game, but since we're not true sports fans, we got over it.  We'll be going through Alabama in a week or so, so I imagine we'll meet a lot of happy folks.  With no symbols of any teams on the coach, we can pick who we want to talk about and just try to fit in.  A coupe of quiet individuals as we are surely can pull that off.  Nicht?

Tomorrow we'll move down to another favorite CG near Tucson, Gilbert Ray CG.  It's near the Sonoran Desert Museum which we really enjoy.  The weather is supposed to be taking a chilling turn for the worse, so we'll need electricity to keep us "toasty." Gilbert Ray has that.

Again, Danke for stopping by and help make our trip a grand event.
