Where I stayed
Home in the falling Snow

I sit and see the latest fall of snow outside of the west window.  I wonder why I'm still here.  I know the real reason, but seem to be stuck in a type of denial. As with many things, the choice isn't always mine.  I believe you get the "drift", so to speak.

Earlier this week we had a semi-surprise visit from my Air Force buddy from the Dark Ages of the 1960s.  Dave aka Granny, stopped by for a night's visit on his way back to Minnesota from his visit in Arizona.  He wasn't content there, what with all of the warmth and lack of snow and ice.  A true northerner, that he is.

The Christmas lights have appeared in the neighborhood and are adding a festive air to the long nights.  Lynn has added several reminders of the season on the dining room table and coffee table in the living room.  It's nice... The LED candles don't have the aroma of the real thing, but are safer and do add some ambiance to the house.

I'll be checking in as the journey progresses.  Thanks for stopping by.

I bet with the new snowfall it does make your time here a bit harder! You will be in the warm sunshine and soaking your feet in saltwater before you know it! I had a hard week with Bert's passsng! Hugs
