What I did
The Calloway Trail
The view from the overlook was good, but finding two caches on the way back was the real highlight. I made a trade for an antler fashioned into a whistle. I'll drop it later in another cache far from here. Lynn found both caches. She's getting to have a good "nose" for such; no offense intended.
The wind came up early today and got to be a nuisance. We had the awning up to help Shorty keep his cool, but took it down before dinnertime, due to the fear that it might go away with Moriah, if you get my meaning
The wind has turned into a breeze, as I type, but we won't go out for a walk tonight, since both of us have been having allergy problems. No need to suffer such just to get another shot of a million dollar sunset. I did take one pic of it from the couch through the window over the dinette. We'll see how that turns out. The wind has dissipated any clouds, so the sight isn't as dramatic as what I posted yesterday.
If the wind isn't too bad, we'll leave in the morning for Phoenix. I'm not so fond of driving in driving winds, so we'll wait and see what the forecast shows us. We'll be at an RV park in north Phoenix. Lynn wants to see some sights in the city, so you'll know about them right after I do. I'll stay for a week, since I have to have some work re-done in Goodyear, a suburb just west of the city. Then onward on a solo trip, the first in many moons.
Thanks for showing up here. It's a treat to write and show the photos.
