What I did
On the Desert View Trail

Flag of United States  , Arizona
Thursday, March 8, 2012

A slow quiet morning for us.  Our friend and neighbor Pete is feeling a bit under the weather.  We just hung out and drove Shorty to the dump station and emptied our tanks.  We've decided to extend our stay until Sunday and then head easterly to Tucson.  We're looking at staying at the Gilbert Ray Campground, west of the city.  It's out in the desert and that appeals to us.

After lunch, we hiked the Desert View Trail again.  It's a bit under two miles in length from Shorty.  We saw new wonders, which I'll show you via photos.  The weather is warmer now, in the seventies, but the wind persists.  It does make sitting outside very comfortable though.

Till next time...

Looks like the desert is in full spring bloom. I can't show the pictures of the snakes to Quinci....or she won't go there....You two are really getting a lot of desert in....and all that nice warmth.
