The weather here is unseasonably hot this year. Sorry. We are really enjoying getting out and exploring. Nothing new for us. We do that wherever we are and always have. Cities, towns or the wild lands are an incentive to look around and see what the Creator has in store for us. What's next? Who knows what it will be. We stopped at the local DQ, where I had a disappointing Blizzard. Not enough chocolate, but no snow. That's a good thing. See ya later...
We took a ride through town and visited a few of the many second hand and thrift stores. St. Vincent de Paul, Sue's Gift Shoppe, The Book Emporium and Bella Mexico among others were checked out. Lynn did find two paperbacks and I nearly found another hat, except it belonged to the nice Mexican fellow who was manning the till at St. Vincent's... It was too small anyway. I asked if they had any mens shorts, to which he replied, "They don't have them out yet. It's still winter." That caused a laugh.
It's about seventy degrees as I write this, with a nice westerly wind to keep it comfortable. I got the Weber set up to cook our dinner...hamburger steaks. In addition, we'll have a tossed green salad, pasta with creamy cheese sauce and bread.
I'm gonna miss that Lynn when she leaves in about forty days!
Just got a few pictures today. See anything that you like?
