We left Buckskin Mountain SP in the morning and headed south to Q.  It's a town with only about 3500 permanent residence, The population swells to over a hundred thousand in winter, especially during the annual RV show.  Over a million folks visit here during the year, especially during these winter months.

We went to the largest Flea Market we have ever experienced.  Many of the vendors have left already, since the RV Show ended on Sunday. We had a fine time shopping, but weren't convinced that we lacked anything and came home empty-handed.  I got only one picture of a relaxed dog in a chair.  It was a very calm crowd of fellow retirees, primarily.  Nice and warm here and the Park folks are extremely friendly.  As luck? would have it, our neighbor is also named Ralph.  We had a great visit with him and his wife Roberta.  He drives a VW dune buggy, which retains the original body.  It was originally raced in the Baja event some years ago and has the roll bars and other mods to make it desert ready.  Ralph is a registered Cherokee Indian and knaps his own arrowheads.  A very friendly fellow, as are most Ralphs, in my experience.

It cools down quickly here in the desert.  It got to the low seventies yesterday and down into the upper thirties this morning.  We're looking forward to doing some searches today and generally keeping busy and enjoying each other and the gift of retirement.

You certainly are making the best of retirement and I think that's GREAT. Keep it up. We are back in CO for now. Stay safe and enjoy this beautiful country of ours.

wondering how far you will get from the MX border? How far are you currently?

I have found most Ralphs to be friendly, too - although I only know one at the present time ;0)

Hard to believe that I have not found much time to visit the Internet since I arrived at the Bar J here in Tucson. Partly due to reuniting with friends, partly setting up camp and cleaning the RV after a month on the road and partly just plain laziness. Anyway, I promise to do better in the future. Nice that you keep your blog up to date. I could/should learn something from this...
