Yesterday, we did some more geocaching with Pete, our mentor.  I tried an app on the phone, but it was useless C:geo, if you really need to know.

Later we went into town and did our shopping before leaving for a more remote area, just north of Parker, Arizona.

This morning, we got up early and went and did our laundry.  I gassed up Sooby, to find that the price of gas had risen about ten cents, at least, since we got here.  The laundry was a busy enterprise, but we got enough machines to get finished quickly.  We drove back to camp just in time to see Pete pulling out for the Tucson area.  We had a fine visit with him, and Duffy too, o'course.  We invited him back to the Big Sky Country.  He loves it there and I do expect to see him in the not too distant future.

Then we hit the road again.  Actually, we were on the road only about twenty minutes and found our new home fairly easily.  The Hussy, on the Droid, led us to an incorrect address, but they sent us on down the road a mile or so to where we are now.  This is a very quiet and scenic park on the Colorado River.  The water looks pristine, with shades of blue and green strongly evident...and clear.

We took a walk around the park after lunch and visited the cactus nature park.  Right across the river from us is California.  There are numerous rv parks along the river.  It's a great place in the winter, but gets up into the 120 degree range come summer.  Not for me...

The sunset was great this evening.  With a mere sliver of moon which accents the photos, it was a joy to see and shoot.  The Fuji camera is working out better the more I use it.  Lots to learn, but fascinating to see what it will produce. It's all in the camera, you know...
