We left Helena after picking up our "grand-dog", Rogue.  She's a three-year-old Boxer/Pit Bull and a very gentle, kind and loving dog she is. What with all of the work we have planned this trip, we ended up taking two cars.  We want to get the blackberries from Washington processed into jam and then near the end of this trip, we have to get the house winterized.

The weather has been amazing.  Highs in the mid-seventies and nice cool nights are the highlights.  Rogue has been enjoying frequent walks with both of us and on shorter ones with Lynn as a solo.  I've been trying to walk a minimum of an hour a day to get in shape for something, what, I'm not sure.  Life maybe...

Today we split a bit of fire wood for the place and got the rack on the deck re-filled.  The weather is perfect for some actual labor.  I've tried to avoid such, but this I truly enjoy.

I got a few photos and you'll see them below.  If you click on the Slideshow option, the photos are a bit larger, as I remember.  If any one of them appeals to you and you want a larger copy, just send me a note and I'll send a high-definition copy to you.

I'll be checking back every few days with more news, so, if you're so inclined, stop by.  Fall Rocks! BTW...
