The plan was to watch the Huskies play the Eagles of Eastern Washington. It happened, as expected. The Huskies barely got by the Eagles, which was a surprise to their loyal fans. Myself, being a non-fan of most sports, I enjoyed the moment. The highlight for me was all of the photo-ops I had both coming and going. It was a hot day, well into the upper seventies, with a blue sky and lots of potential for sunburn.
On the way up, Rich took us for a tour, to include Lake Union. I was again amazed at the number and size of the houses that line all of the shores here. We got the boat anchored and enjoyed a large batch of hors d'ourvres, while waiting for the shuttle to pick us up and transport us to the stadium
I took lots of photos, about a hundred. With careful editing and significant deletion, I've come up with about thirty that are worth sharing, in my opinion. The sunset was a magnificent experience when encountered from the water. You be the judge...
Today we'll try to find enough ripe blackberries to justify our trip. That was our original motive for this sojourn. We'll see and report back later. And now, to the pictures...Enjoy... Comments, as usual, are appreciated.
