Lisa got called out to the hospital at midnight and four AM for some cardiac cath work, so we didn't get out of town until later in the morning.  I took Shorty and the gals followed later.  It's about a three hour drive on the circuitous coastal road.  Much beauty on the twisty and hill roads.  Just the place to be on a motorcycle.  It's a bit different in a motorhome, however and one must be especially cautious on the narrow spots with guardrail.  Don't ask me how I know...

We came back to the CG where we had stayed two years ago.  It's right on the river and a nice spot.  Don, the owner, guided us to a spot with a decent view of the water.  I took a nap, sorry, while Lynn visited with Lisa and Madison.  It's extremely quiet here and conducive to a serious nap.  Which I did...

Later we got together and had Lynn's famous Taco Salad.  It's a recipe that she's made since the seventies and was given to her by a family friend in California.  We cleaned up after the meal and at about eight went to a friend of Lisa and Rich's, Bryan, and sat by his fire and visited.  He's a powerline inspector for PPL and is based out of Oregon.  He's fortunate in that he can stay here and work out in the area nearby.  He's an avid fisherman and comes here regularly with his wife.  Last week he caught a large sturgeon and we discussed the species and several others that he has caught.  His favorite fish is the Albacore Tuna.  I know more about tuna fishing than I'd ever thought possible.  Sounds like a gas fishing for them.

We returned to the Coach shortly after sunset.  I edited a few photos I'd taken this evening and will put them up, slowly, as the service here is a bit scant.  More of our "adventures" tomorrow.

Okay, I have to tell you-I always like your photos and many are especially good but the birds in the fire is award winning (even if it is just my award). You should blow that one up when you get home and frame it-mucho grande. Lynn and I will have to compare taco salad recipes as I also got a recipe in the 70s from a family friend....and it is a speciality at our house too.....sounds like another grand trip by the Guays.....makes me jealous....but less than two months til our next adventure so meanwhile I will enjoy yours with you...well, sorta.
