Back to the Three Forks incident. The MTDOT is widening the road there, so we were held up for a good bit, waiting for the guys to build some of the sub-grade
We stopped for lunch at Indian Creek Campground, just outside of Townsend, Montana. It's a primitive campground, but the views are phenomenal. The mountains in the distance, namely, Mount Edith ant the Twin Sisters are laden with snow and radiating the summer sun. I got a couple of decent shots from the campground.
Before we had reached Helena, we had decided to wash both Shorty and Sooby before we got home. We went to the local truck wash and did the job on both of them. Numerous quarters later, we split up and went about getting ready to go home. I drove to the only dump station in town and dumped. Then I got the keys to our car and the garage where we had it stored. Lynnie got the mail re-started and met me at home. What a great house! The grass it the greenest and the apple trees are in full bloom. The lilac trees are just ready to open. What a gift!
Lynnie visited with a few neighbors and filled them in on the trip. I have been sending them the blog, but apparently they haven't been keep up. Just after dinner, our neighbor, Chris, stopped by and brought flowers as a welcoming gift. What great neighbors we have..
I'll add a few more photos and a bit more of our story tomorrow or so and then end this story. See you then.
