What I did
Looked around in Amazement
We stopped in Billings at the Ford dealer for an oil change and to get Shorty's running light bulb replaced. A kine highway patrolman in Wyoming stopped us and pointed it out. Lynnie had noticed it so i picked up a bulb, but it turned out to be the incorrect one
We picked up Shorty and then returned to Costco and gassed him up. The fuel price there was about a dime more a gallon than we paid in Wyoming, but cheaper than most in that area.
The drive to Columbus was beautiful! The blue skies and fluffy clouds was a welcoming sight to us, especially after all of the rain and gray we have been experiencing. It's only about forty miles from Billings to Columbus, so we were at our last night's campsite in no time.
The Mountain Range Park is just off the highway. It's green and level, with all the hook-ups we need. The host lady was very friendly and welcoming. In no time we were set up and ready to go for a walk and explore.
Unfortunately, the road we had chosen is covered with NO TRESSPASSING signs put up by the city of Columbus
On the way back to camp I got a couple of shots of two birds on the nearby fence.
Back at camp now, Lynnie is preparing dinner and I'm writing the penultimate posting of the blog. I'll do the last one tomorrow in Helena. It's been a real gas!
