We tried to get an early start today, but it really didn't work out.  Sooby's battery was dead again, so we had to disconnect and push him back a bit downhill and the hook up.  We drove into Moorhead and then across to Fargo where I bought a very-precious battery at O'Reilly's Auto Parts. With the 7.5% sales tax, it was even more precious.  I got the manager to install it and we were set to go.  I gassed up Shorty for $3.65 a gallon, which was about 15 cents cheaper than in Minnesota.

The trip was exciting.  We actually had a tailwind!  The downside, however, was the miles and miles of construction on I-29.  The northbound lanes are closed off, so we shared our lane with the northbounders.  At sixty-five miles an hour, the journey got tedious and finally annoying.

When we got to Watertown, we sought out the Lake City RV park.  The Hussey got us there fine, only to find out that it was full.  In looking at the park, I could immediately see why.  Most of the sites were under water! So much rain here too, much as you've been receiving in Helena.  We found another place in the Woodall's Campground Guide and made it here with no trouble.  The Wind...  It's a basic place, but the sites are level and it offers full-hookups for twenty dollars.  And the wind...

Lynnie is reading and I'm writing and listening to: The Wind... According to the weather app on the phone, we have had gust up to 32 MPH.  Real tough on the fly fishermen...  At least we're not flooded and are content to spend the night.  As a variation in our culinary routine, we're having Truzzilino's Tamales tonight.  They've patiently ridden along in the freezer, just waiting to help us out here in South Dakota.

Tomorrow we'll have another fairly long day, what with the NE wind and traveling west.  We'll be making another "left turn" at Sioux Falls and then on to Oacoma.  Should be interesting...
