We tried again to get another night in Myrtle Beach, but had no luck.  So many people wanting to enjoy the beach during this beautiful weather.  We left a bit after nine.  The Hussy was having some sort of problem, female or whatever, and couldn't find a route to our next destination.  We had charged the Garmin just in case... It worked fine for a couple of hours, but then the battery gave out.  If you don't have it plugged in, it will fail, as it did.  There's some sort of problem with Shorty, in that even though there's positive current in the 12v. outlets, it still discharges.  I've posted the problem several times on the internet, but have yet to come up with a solution.  Any ideas our there???

We made it to Kinston, North Carolina, in around three hours.  Mixed driving on interstates, US Highways and state roads.  All of the roads were good so far.  As i think about it, the absolute  WORST road was in Utah.  Near N'awleans the road was a humpity-bump sort of a roughness which drove us a bit looney.  We took a US highway to eliminate any more of that.

This is a busy little campground.  It has an elaborate Nature Center and also a Planetarium onsite.  We'll explore them as well as whatever else shows up.  More later...

We walked over and signed up for two nights here.  Can you believe, full-hook up, that's electricity, water and sewer, for twelve dollars a night.  Plus, we can visit all of the facilities too.  This is a county park and is really interesting, especially for kids.  Lots of exhibits and all.

We checked out the Nature Museum and the river and then came back to the coach and Lynnie prepared dinner.  I didn't get any pix yet, but we did see some great looking roses and pink water lilies while we were looking around.  They have several live birds, snakes and spiders on exhibit here too.  A great family place, it is, I tell ya.

It's raining a bit as I type this and Lynnie's playing solitaire.  We played some Phase 10 earlier and she beat me.  This made up for me skunking her last night.  I do not know what's come over me??  Played cards two nights in a row...  I'll have to sleep on that to help figure out what's going on.
