We had a nice drive from Huachuca today.  Filled up Shorty at a Fry's Gas Station and paid $2.79 a gallon with a dime discount.  We try to stay on less-traveled roads when we move, both to see more scenic routes and to go slower.  It's a good way to go, we find.  Today was about an eighty mile trip through rolling hills and nice twisty turns.  A great place to ride a motorcycle, if you're so inclined.  We're in Willcox, Arizona now.  This is the home of the cowboy actor/singer, Rex Allen.  If you're old enough to remember him, welcome to our world.  The town was pretty well shut down.  We tried to visit the Chiricahua Museum, but it like that road in the mountains, was closed-up.  The sign said it should be open, but not so.  I did get a picture of it, however.  We wandered the streets and saw very few people.  It's about the size of Townsend, MT, three-thousand and some odd people.  Some not.  Lynn did recognize a person and lo and behold, she and her husband are from Helena!  He's a Federal Trapper and spent time touring the area with the local trapper.  Tomorrow we plan to head out somewhere and watch the sandhill cranes which winter here.  The Sulphur Springs is home to close to thirty thousand of them as I've read.

I met some Canadian neighbors, from Alberta,  here who are planning on a tour to Russia in May.  They're learning Russkij via the Rosetta method, and of course, knowing I have a bit of experience, had way too many questions for me.  We'll visit tomorrow and I'll get a first hand look at the program.  It should prove interesting.

Hopefully we'll have some fun photos to share tomorrow...
