For the first time in my life, I stepped on to a sail boat. It was a rather small one, only made to fit 4 max, but it was glorious. I sat in the front and manned the jibb sail. For 2 hours we zigged back and forth accross the lake. As I learned more about the boat and how to control it. The day started out a little rocky, after setting it up we started to put it in the water. I must have cut my toe one something, because as I held the boat and waited for my friend to return from parking the truck I looked down and saw my big toe covered in blood and a small pool around my foot. There are about 7 cm long cuts on my toe...from what I have no idea. But the day progressed much better. It was especially windy so I was warned there was a chance of capsizing...something I wasn't quite ready for on my first time. Luckily we passed on that glorious activity (for now.) It was amazing to just feel the wind taking us along that lake. Finally the wind began to die down and we went in for the day. But I am already looking forward to my next sailing adventure.
