Alright well I'm back on day number 3 here, thought I'd write about my time yesterday. We had all kinds of registration items to attend to, so we were here from about 10am to 7pm after we got out of here, pretty much all of us went down to Bill's a conveient store a couple of blocks away, there we bought our oyster cards for future use on the buses and underground. I also got some minutes so now my phone here is set up. From there about a group of 10 of us ended up walking in some random direction to explore, about 10 minutes later we ended up in Teddington where we stopped at a pub (The Teddington Arms) there we watched a football (soccer) game England vs. Spain on tv, and I had my first pint of cider. After that we all split off and Vanessa and I walked our new friend Melissa home since she only lives about a block from us. We talked outside her house for an hour and then turned around and to head back to ours. I made some toast and we watched tv for a bit. It was about 11 by that time but we were so tired. Our room has been freezing the past two days only about 57 degrees. So last night I slept with my coat on in attempt to be warmer. This morning we woke up to London's first major snow storm in 2 years. It was a very damp gross thick sticky snow, they got about 2 inches, but most of it was melting right away. My shoes have been soaked all day. We registered this morning for classes and then toured the campus a little while. After this we have 2 more meetings about library use, and tours of London that we can sign up for. Then we have free time. Vanessa, Melissa, and I and whoever we can gather up might catch a bus and head into Richmond later tonight to check out the shopping district and such. They stay open later on Thursday nights so maybe we can meet up with some people and find some of the things we needed to buy.
