Where I stayed
Packed my camera gear and off to mohameds garage for a quick inspection. Afterwards we get a fresh plate of grilled sardines. Again, delicious and cheap! In morocco they tend to be served slightly undercooked.
Back to mohameds and inspect the wiring that Aziz is getting done. Brahim phones us to meetup for another contact. After some confusion as to where to meetup we finally dub him manuel from fawlty towers. While waiting we cant help notice a Bric-a-Brac shop in the middle of the urban area! It has antiquities of all sorts and is owned by pierre, an elderly and friendly french man
We go to the bus station to find out the bus times to Rabat as i have to go to the mauritanian consulate there to get a visa. Its a 7hr trip and i have to be there early in the morning..
Back to the hotel and jay goes for a run on the long beach while im eager to capture the sunset i missed yesterday. I realise i left my zoom lens in the hotel in order to get some decent photos of the fishermen unloading their catch. I cant find any inspiration today and walk back dissapointed. I get some passport photos done.
Back at the hotel we bust our brains out on how to share our internet connection. We somewhat fail and go out to eat. We find a place outside the medina and eat a mixed grill. A young boy is working hastily washing the dishes and i leave him a small tip under my plate. Walking back we find a place that does milkshakes, delicious avocado+nuts! there is another variant with dates aswell. yum yum!
