Up early once again.. updating travel blog again... bla bla.. but this time i was sneezing my head off real bad. Had to sneeze into my pillow so as not to wake Jay up. Went downstairs for a shower but no hot water. Not too bad cos i always shower the last minutes on cold. Superb wake up call, got used to it from my Army days.

Jay wakes up from his deep slumber and after some usual messing around he gets out some pomegranate that we bought the other day at the market. Out comes my leatherman pocket knife to the rescue and he begins to peel this odd bit of fruit, i don't think Ive ever tried them before. Jay tries to trick me that its the shell that's edible but i don't fall for it. The inside tastes ok i guess.

We head out and both our stomachs aint feeling too great. On the way out into the main street i couldnt help notice the cat thats always there, quite a cool character and this time hes lying in the blistering sun with a bit of cardboard on top of his head as a sort of sunshade. I cant help but take a photo.

We get to the Jeep and drive down to Mohameds garage and notice some clouds rolling in. We arrive just in time as they are soldering the main bar and this requires utmost precision! Jay decides it needs to be supervised for some time and in the meantime it starts to rain quite heavily with some blasting thunder. I curse quietly wishing i was at some ideal location with my camera, documenting the stormy weather. Once the rain subsides a bit i head off to the hotel.

Back at base my stomach is churning and while im preparing my camera gear im deciding where to eat. Jay phones me on my moroccan mobile and needs the key for the back door from my car as there is a potential buyer for one of the mercedes engines. He suggests we could have some pot noodles there as the camping gaz stoves are inside my jeep. Not a bad idea, could be interesting.

Once outside it starts pissing down again as i hastily make my way back. The rain slows down as i arrive. We unload the engine and while i make make some pot noodles the engine is sold. Havent had any pot noodles in years.. We finish off with some heinz tomato soup, simply delicious. Certainly an interesting and unique experience!

Back to the medina after a little drive to meet-up with Brahim. During the chit-chat i miss a deep orange sunset. I grab my gear from the car in vain and head off to the harbour but once again i curse quietly. Very annoying... We get back to the hotel and spend a good while editing photos, its very addictive! More photography lessons for Jay and some excellent results!

Its about 11pm till we finally decide to get something to eat. The streets are dead with very few activity. We find 2 small, shabby restaurants right next to each other and compare prices outside while the employees from both are shouting at us to come and choose their place to eat.
