Apologies for the massive delay in this post but what can we say - we´re lazy. Try spending 10 days in the caribbean and being so!

So, 3 weeks ago we bid our farewells to Antigua, Guatemala. Post head injury and public hospital experience, spnt 2 dqays helping out in the classrooms run by the volunteer programme GVI which basically means help cut things out, dish out glus, and be a climbing frame/swing for los niños. Great core strength training as well. Then we had our final GVI friday BBQ which included a farewell dance (robot of course) and speech which Rahul kindly let Ben do by himself. Queue 2 days chilling and illing, saying our goodbyes to our house mum and her crazy pets and nearly missing our 4am bus to Copan, Honduras.

After 7 hours on a minibus we arrived in Copan, famous for it´s Mayan Ruins which we duly visited. Our guide, Saul, a self-confessed 70s John Lennon idolising rock and roll hippee was an absolute legent. He had either taken lots of drugs over the pat few decades or on something at the time. Most likely the latter, but either way, he provided us with some amazing stories in one of the most incredible sights we have ever seen.

Ben and the other 3 others we met in Antigua met up with GVI in copan whlst Rahul stayed in bed and slept for a total of 15 hours each night after the tour. Rahul, again true to form caught a "flu". Of course this had to coincide with the outbreak of swine in mexico anbd north america. This passed (onto ben) within a couple of days and we caught a 7 hour bus through San Pedro Sula to La Ceiba, on the Caribbean coast of Honduras. When boarding the ferry to head to our next destination Utila, one of the Bay Islands 20km off the coast, we were met by group of masked nurses/doctors which kind of brought into perspective. And, NO, I (Rahul) did not tell them that i had 5 out of the 6 symptoms of swine..solely becasue ben said "fuck off, i want to get to utila and dive!".

And thats honduras in third person which i dont think Ben and Rahul will do again. As for photos, we will upload a few...promise.
