So after a 15 hour journey on the sleeper train from Amritsar we arrived in Jaipur.

The train is not so bad, the berth we had was good but only about 5' long so stretching out when sleeping is not so easy but we got there in the end if not a little cramped..

Jaipur is another city of chaos although nothing compared to Delhi. Its in Rajisthan which were traveling around for the next 2 weeks.

Its famous for its city palace, in the pink city and the Jal Mahal, lake palace which is being converted into a hotel.  We stayed in a small guest house, a family home which was great as it was out the city and very chilled and relaxing after a few hectic days.

The hassleing was the same on the streets as usual, the rickshaw drivers are cheeky sods, one got lost and tried to charge us for him not knowing his way around.. as if!

We spent three days here but just chilled in the hotel, I had a trerrible cold and we were covered in bed bug bites from Amristar so feeling a bit shit over all but we were heading off to Jailsamer, which is in the thar desert region, its mighty hot out there and where we were going to pick up a camel safari for the night which Ill tell you all about next time.

Jaipur is a bustling city, hot, lots of cows, and cow shit, lots of dogs and monkeys. We went to what is known as monkey temple and had a little guide with us who was kind of cute until he demanded money as they all do but it was cheaper to have him than an official guide so not too bad...

See some pics of our time there hope you like them.
