Finally arrive in Singapore. Find budget hostel. Phone Peer Nielsen from Burma. We meet for Singapore Sling at famous Raffles Hotel bar. He invites me to stay at his luxurious apartment.

Tell him about three Chines girls from Cameron Highlands. I phone and we all meet for dinner. They insist on picking up the check.

We later host them for dinner at Peer's apt. I cook. Memorable evening. Terrific gals.

I stay about a week then it is time to move on. Score a cheap tix on China Air to LAX with stopovers in HKG, Taipei, Honolulu.
