Took train then bus headed for Jaisalmer, the pink city.27 Dec 80 Thar desert, Rajasthan, India N05 between Bikaner & Pokharan from top of moving bus, camel in mid ground Village in Thar desert from top of bus. believed village was Mamar ?The weather was ideal. Cool but sunny and cloudless like most deserts.Ed and I rode on the top of the bus though there was enough room inside. The panoramic view were great. Many people find desert scenery boring and sleep or read [or now watch video.] I have always found the passing scene interesting often fascinating.
