Took a day sight seeing bus tour to the top of Rohtung Pass which I think looks down into Spiti which is in Ladkh. The unpaved narrow road twisted and turned. The pass is at about 10,000 ft. At the rest stop on top I noticed that both of the tires on the right rear axle were not merely bald but had large holes so that the inner tube was visible. Wonder whether I would have taken that bus had I noticed it at the start. Once at the top the only alternative was to walk - a long way. Left aligned photo tag:
