Booked 7:30 AM bus to Sihanoukville via Phnom Penh USD$ 20. Hour wait for bus shange at P P. Agian both buses large comfortable air conditioned. Smooth roads. Passed many small villages. Typical houses on stilts. Some simple, poor. others large, wealthy.

Pre booked hotel via Seam Reap Riverside. Taxi to hotel $%. Taxi and tuk tuk drivers have informal union - they set the price at $5 and won't undercut each other.

Room was $USD 15. Fairly large, fan and air conditioning. toilet and cold water shower. TV mini Fridge. Mostly just kicked back and relaxed. Happy hour and dinner at the beach. Beach nothing to rave about. Good sunsets. Cold draft beer at half US dollar. Good sea food. Ran into a Russian from hostel in Kunming.

Cambodians are attractive friendly people. Language barrier limits acquintances. Few speak English and then rather basic.
