Stay there till Jan 1978 when visit Yonkers for parents 50th Anniversary. Return to Hayward but get a different place.
Get job through Olsten Temps working in Oakland on BART litigation for CDC Control Data Corp. Minneapolis based. Sort of paralegals About 30 of us at minimum wage. Most with degrees, including Law, PhD, MS, etc. Exploited because of very deep recession.
Job lasted till Jan 77. Got temp job with Shaklee in Emeryville.
Unexpected VA benefit. Got II Instrument Instructor Rating, Commercial Helicopter License.
Hired by Landek Aviation, Livermore as taxi pilot, instructor. Leave to go to Yonkers. Took permanent job with Shaklee on return.
Quit Shaklee to join Peace Corps Aug 1978.
