- First, it will be K. who will set the alarm-clock this time and the only reason why we should break up in the very first morning might strictly be the earliness of the wake-up call (however, the charming view of the Bangkok wats in dawn will reassure R. that everything is just the way it's supposed to be. And even if this didn''t work, a super sized portion of Pad Thai (Xtra nuts) and a bottle of cool Chang will... :o*).
- Second, R. will back his narrative attempts so as he is able to actually deliver his art to his readers despite any website trouble (we lost some pure treasure last year... you wouldn't have believed :D).
- And finally, the bedbugs won't get any chance this time... we've already been way too generous!!!
So here's the plan! We are going far to the north to enjoy the beautiful nature and do some trekking on the Thai-Burmese border and we might even gain some jungle cooking skills on the way (or we'll lose some weight... both options are actually quite acceptable ;o). Then we are going to cross the Mekong River to Laos to "fly the jungle" the way apes do (no big deal to pretend for (some of) us ;o) and luckily enough we might be able to listen to some real gibbons singing us goodnight while we will be falling asleep in our treetop house. And surely, we can't leave this paradise without some relaxation on the white-sand beaches, swimming and diving in clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand, encountering some whale sharks and sea turtles in the blue depths, enjoying the wind in our hair (OK, in my hair) while hitting "roads" on a motorbike and Full-Moon partying on the beach...
Having successfully survived all this, we might eventually come back home and live happily ever after...:o)
