6th Feb 06,

Ok so bita an update to do..! Usual for me I suppose!! Will start from when left Tube-n-Axe - 6th January 2006!!

The few days before I left were party nights.. I'd some great nights with people from Petoria... really sound people.. Some all night sessions so by the day I was to leave I was quite tired..!

Managed to 'climb' the mountain thou! In a way! :D There'd been a guy stayn at the backpackers before that'd come back and was a rock climber or sumthn like that.. so evening before I left was talking to him.. he was interested in climbing the mtn or sum crap and seeing if he could do some rockclimbing there. . So we rounded up a few more people and drove up as far as the fire lookout point.. From there we climbed to the 1st peak for sunset.. View was AMAZING! Beautiful colours etc.. (Check picts if I manage to upload some!!) Was so delighted got to see it. The day I was leaving pissed rain so wasn't gonna climb it then so the evening before turned out well!

The night I left Tubies (6th Jan) I went to Jefferys Bay to Island Vibe Backpackers.. Had stayed there a load of times before and wanted to go down to say goodbye to the staff there that I knew! Had a great night! Such a laugh down there - always a party vibe.. Got to compare 'smiley faces' on hand with onea the barmen Rob, the previous time had been there we'd made smiley faces on our hands and so comparisons were drawn the minute I got into the bar!! Robs was worse.. mine was grand! :D There was a real party vibe there that night - somea Rob's mates were down from Cape Town so buzzed with them and Suzanne - a girl that had stayed at Tubies before but now worked at Island Vibe.. Next day just buzzed round Jefferys Bay and the backpakers.. didn't do much and left on the bazbus to Port Elizabeth around 8pmish.
