Got chattn to a bloke there who was a tour guide for Nomads (another overland tour comany) who took me and georgia (another girl from my overland tour that was also stayn in joburg for a few days) around to some of the suburbs and places of interst in joburg.
Went to Melville for sumthin to eat.. Ate in a place called cool runnings. Lovely food and great relaxed atmosphere! Tryin to rmember what else we did over the few days.. hum.. Posted stuff home - poxy post office there was prob as bad as in dublin.. Q' was HUGE and took aaaages to get throu.

Head wrecking! anway, got throu it eventually!Went to the waterfront there as well which was nice. Tried to go to gold reef city, but were too late for it to be worth our while so checked out the casino instead for an hr or so!!
Back to melville then again for something to eat - Tried a different resturant this time and food was yum again! Think it was called Xai-Xai or somethin to that effect!
Didnt do much else apart from that in Joburg but enjoyed my time there - suppose if u avoid the wrong areas ur less likely to have a bad experience there..!
Flew down to cape town then on the 2nd, but am sure ive covered that in my cape town blog so ament gonna write about it again.. Flight was fine! Airport was fine. As usual my bag got searched! - Hand luggage thou not my big bag, which i suppose wasnt too bad overall!!
