The brutal reality of the violence hit us on several occasions here. When driving into Abuja, a dead body lay in a car under the motorway bridge, just a short drive away from the 5 star Sheraton hotel we stayed in. The campsite in oshogbo, where the owner drunkly beat up his nephew. To the beautiful game park where we saw our first elephants. What a contrast!
