So we left Salta stupidly early, at 7 am, with evryone resembling the living dead after last night! We drove all morning and got to the Bolivian border just after lunch. This was much less hassle than the Arg-Chile border, all we had to do was get our passports stamped and get some money changed. The difference between countries was immediate, bolivia is much poorer, and you could tell straight away!
We then had more driving along some pretty narrow interesting roads to get to our campsite in a place called Tupiza. The campsite was so pretty, with massive red clifffs all around it, and a river nearby, but the wind was insane. We had to move our tents after we first pitched them cos they ere practically blowinbg away. Of course, once we had moved them all the wind died down!
We cooked our yummy tea and I had an early night as was shattered after the night before!
