Today, another (yes, anothetr) early start, for a long drive day. Would have been dull except for the crossing of the equatoer moment, cue taking approximately one million photos!, and anotehr accident on teh raod which blocked us for about an hour- not us again i'm glad to say, this time it was a bus that seemed to haev flipped over off the road, when we arrived it was being righted by a dodgy looking tow truck. all entertaining.no one was hurt, and the locals who had gathered for the show seemed then more interested in us. Bizarre reactions today from people we passed. Normally people wave and shout hello and 'how are you' repeeatedly at us, and are really friendly, but driving through one (dodgy) bit of kampala, i was waving to one guy who started out waving then suddenly turned nastly and startedf giving us the finger. lovely. we are now at lake bunyoni, just outside of kabale, near the rwandan border, and are here for 5 nights so we can all do the gorilla treks. i will be uplaoding photos onto this thing, as this internet at the campsite allows you to do so. but not today as i can smell our tea and i have some vodka waiting on the truckl for me ;).
