Today we were up stupidly early again to go to the chimp sanctuary on lake victoria.  It is an insland of about 40 hectares with 40 chimps living on it, you can go over for the feeding and watch them.  it was really interesting as they were interacting as though they were in the wild, with the dominant males beating up the lower down ones over food, the baby playing and pestering the parents, and just their general characteristics.  We were there for about 2 hours then took the boat bacfk.  After a bit of a trek around town to find somewhere to change money into ugandan shillings on a sat afternoon, and to find a supermarket, we were then back at the campsite for a quick rest before some of us went out for an indian, and an atte, pted night out whcih fell a bit flat when we couldnt find any bars and ended up at some random posh hotel....we didnt feel out of place at all!  yummy meal thougyh, nearly up to selly oak standards. and cheap too
